Street food has come a long way from hot dogs, knishes, pretzels - and oysters, yes, oysters, which were actually one of the very first options offered by NYC push carts in the late 1600s. Nearly four hundred years later food trucks have taken street fare to a whole new level offering a wide variety of eclectic mobile delicacies to satisfy even the most finicky of palates. And thanks to 9A Eats you can now find some of your favorites all assembled in one convenient location right here in Westchester County. Add in a dozen or so creatively painted picnic tables and FREE parking and you’ve got the perfect outdoor spot to enjoy a delicious breakfast, lunch or dinner seven days a week.

Located in Elmsford on the vibrant and bustling 9A thoroughfare, Westchester’s first food truck park starts welcoming guests this Labor Day weekend. Over twenty different trucks will be participating on a rotating basis with four to five available on any given day, including Longford's Ice Cream, Westchester Burger Co., Poke Motion Food Truck, Road Grub, Pizza Vitale, Gyro Uno, and Walter's Hot Dogs, to name a few. But the list of potential fare is growing daily as food truck owners enthusiastically embrace this new opportunity to further enhance the Westchester food scene with their mouthwatering cuisine.

Plans are already underway for the addition of a beautiful two-story open-air dining pavilion, scheduled for summer of 2021. This glass infused structure will allow patrons to enjoy their meal protected from the elements and offer space for group events, specialty food fairs, and corporate functions.

And even though it’s all about the food, 9A Eats is also hard at work organizing special events and activities to make sure your visit satisfies more than just your appetite.  So, get ready to get your food (and fun) on year-round, rain or shine at Westchester’s first food truck park located at 138 N.  Central Avenue, Elmsford NY.

To learn more about this collaborative effort of the local municipality, architect Nexus Creative Design, and Vividmark, a marketing and design company, as well find out which trucks will be available each day, you can connect with 9A Eats on Instagram, Facebook, or their website.

Happy eating!
