Liposuction is SO Yesterday! Why Non-Surgical Cryoskin May Be The Miracle You’ve Been Waiting For!

Who could blame us if we added some pandemic-induced weight over the summer months?  Now that Westchester is steady in Phase 4 of reopening, we’ve got the perfect solution to help you drop those added pounds.

While Europeans have been reaping the benefits of Cryoskin for about five years, this non-invasive (yup, it’s surgery free!) sculpting technique has only recently become available in the United States – and boy, have we been missing out!

Ahead of the Trend got the inside scoop about this groundbreaking treatment from Jessica Abreu, owner of Core Nutrition and Wellness in Dobbs Ferry, NY.  After all, when a product’s tag line is ‘Less Fat, More You’, how could we not be intrigued?

According to Ms. Abreu, who has been offering Cryoskin to her clientele for two years, there are three different treatments to choose from:

CryoSlimming offers permanent (yes, permanent!), non-invasive fat reduction by using hot and cold temperatures to target fat cells. Heat makes the fat cells rise up and the subzero temps cause them to actually burst and die, and our bodies naturally eliminate the dead cells. The reason this treatment is considered permanent is because we don't actually make new fat cells after adolescence. The ones we have expand and shrink as we gain and lose weight. This process is actually causing fat cell death, known as apoptosis.

CryoToning targets cellulite and offers a lifting effect. Unlike slimming, this treatment is not permanent and requires maintenance.

CryoFacial is an anti-aging facial. It helps to produce the collagen in the skin, reducing the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and pores. It provides an instant lift, helps reduce the appearance of jowls, and it also defines the jawline.

When Ms. Abreu was approached to do a trial offering of Cryoskin services to her clients she’d already had over eight years of experience with other body sculpting options, including Coolsculpting which she offered to her Core Nutrition and Wellness clients.

“Once I tried it there was no turning back. It was clear to me – and my customers – that Cryoskin was a much better alternative.”

Sessions are painless and comfortable, similar to a cold massage, and typically take 30 minutes or less. What’s not to love -- but does it work?

Ms. Abreu’s answer to that question is a resounding YES. Clients see a result every time, losing at least an inch every session, if not more. On average,  her clients end up losing anywhere from three to ten inches over the course of their treatment.  Ms. Abreu herself is down nine inches on her waist.

“My clients love it and constantly refer their friends and family because it truly is a one-of-a-kind treatment. Almost all of my Cryoskin customers have come to me through word of mouth.”

The services can be pricey – but once customers look in the mirror, they realize it’s worth the investment. And, if you’ve checked out the S&P  lately, Cryoskin sounds like the way to go!

While the benefits are real, Ms. Abreu is quick to point out that potential customers should do their homework to ensure the best outcome.

“You must be certified to perform any Cryoskin treatment. Cryoskin is ninety-percent technique; if someone is not doing it properly and maintaining the precise temperatures, there will be no result, period.”

After speaking with Ms. Abreu, Ahead of the Trend decided to try Cryoskin out for ourselves, and it left us with one final question: Where has this miraculous treatment been all our lives?

As they say, better late than never!
